SS. PETER & PAUL DRESS CODE POLICY

  • The administration has approved Educational Outfitters for school clothing because it offers
    quality clothing at a reasonable, competitive price and is located in Lansing at 3323 West
    Saginaw and in Grand Rapids at 1055 28th St. SW. They also offer on-line shopping at www.
    educationaloutfitters.com. Our school code is: MI0941 for ordering on-line.
  • Educational Outfitters will have approved items on record to make sure the items being
    purchased are approved for our school. Additionally, Educational Outfitters returns 3% of
    net sales back to our school.
  • Parents are not required to purchase school clothing through Educational Outfitters, however,
    the clothing should be identical in appearance (length, style and color). The uniform plaid is
    plaid #1404 and MUST be purchased through this company.

JUMPER (Grades K-4):

SKORTS (Grades K-8):          
Solid (Navy or Khaki)                     

SHORTS (Grades K-8):
Solid (Navy or Khaki) Walking Shorts

PANTS (Grades K-8):           
Solid (Navy or Khaki) Dress - Pleated or Flat front.  Corduroy pants are acceptable.
No cargo, capri, stirrup, stretch, denim, carpenter, sweats or warm-up style are acceptable.

BLOUSE/SHIRT (Grades K-8):
Solid Navy, White or Light Blue polo or knit, boys’ oxford style.  Turtleneck is acceptable.        
Peter pan collar may be worn under jumper in grades K-4.
All blouses and shirts must be tucked in.

SWEATER (Grades K-8):       
Solid Navy or White V-neck, crew neck, cardigan and sweater vest are acceptable.
A collared shirt must be worn under the sweater
Fleece material is not acceptable

SOCKS:          
Navy or White socks (most cover the ankle).  Must be worn at all times. Tights, knee socks and
nylons are acceptable

SHOES:          
Casual shoes and tennis shoes are acceptable. Shoes must be tied at all times.
Sandals and heels over an inch are not acceptable.  Due to outdoor safety, Heelys, clogs and crocs
are also not acceptable.                  
    
HAIR:                  
Must be clean and neatly groomed.  
Hair length for boys should be above eyebrow and must be off the collar.

There will be designated jean days and spirit wear days throughout the school year where students
may wear other attire. These decisions will be made by the administrator with notice to the parents.
